Real Fern Leaf Frame Pendant - Silver Necklace with Leather Cord and Wooden Bead

I brought these beautiful, very organic looking fern leaves back from a trip to Kielder forest last autumn. After carefully drying them, I applied thin layers of fine silver to preserve the texture and not damage the leaf. Once fired the leaves burn away and reveal shiny curled silver fern charms. The leaf has a beautiful colourful rainbow patina with gives a great contrast to the sturdy silver frame. I paired it with a leather cord as well as a wooden and a silver bead.

As always I have completely handcrafted this pendant myself.
Materials used: fine & sterling silver, wood, leather
Size: the pendant is 4cm long and 1.8cm wide. The leather cord can be adjusted with sliding knots. Shortest length 45cm, longest 70cm.
